I have the fabric for the backing for Farm Girl Vintage ready for the laundry.  Hoping tomorrow I'll have it all washed and dried and pressed.  Then to piece the backing.  I have done a couple of things on the embroidery machine.  I want to do more with that than with quilting.  Actually, I realized that I have four quilt projects that are mostly done on the embroidery machine, some straight embroidery and some applique.  I'd like to get some of them underway.

I have all the pieces cut to continue making the Star Wars blocks.  I did put 5 more blocks together and have about 12 more to go!!  I really want to get these blocks made into a quilt top, then add the batting and backing...get it machine quilted with stitch in the ditch and be done with it!!!!   Oh...and then add the binding and THEN be done with it!!!  LOL!!

Progress feels good to me . . .

Today I am going to start sewing Squirrel Park, a kit I have had for a long time.  I cut it yesterday and today I will start sewing.  Another in a long line of Giterdones.

Finishing up the Round Robin swap through my local quilt guild. This is the last set of borders for this swap.  My contribution is the HST border. Must make a few more HSTs before I finish.  We will all get our tops back next month! Hey - Frankie is blocking my beautiful border!

I have my FGV quilt spray basted and pressed and my Tiara is all threaded up ready to quilt.  Just have to decide how I am going to quilt it.  I'll figure it out as I go

Working on bear paws for swap hoping to finish today.  I have Company and babysitting all thisweek so it is going to be a challenge.  I am washing and drying the backing for October Mug Rug swap.

I think my house is clean enough except I do want to mop kitchen and bathrooms before going to bed tonight since I have my company tomorrow.

Brenda, Your post brought back a memory for me.  Your last line said you think your house is clean enough...  My Mom's philosophy was: "My house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy".  Be happy and enjoy your company.

No sewing today. Watched the first half of the Dolphins game, came home to see we won, then took the DGD's to see The House With The Clock In The Walls. Love Jack Black!!
