Went to the park this morning for what is normally a 3,500 - 4,000 step walk and got home to find out my fitbit was still on the charger.

My back has been in a spasm since the evening I had DGS. Bleh. Getting better now, though, and today will only net about 6k. Should be able to get back in the swing more tomorrow..

So, all year I have tried and failed miserably to lose weight. Someone in this group mentioned Bright Line Eating , so I looked it up, watched all her free videos, found them all to make a lot of sense, and was wondering what her "catch" was. Well, it was the $500 she wanted in order to join her boot camp! I knew I really just needed something to get me started. (I'd lost 30 pounds after my last baby doing Eat to Live and kept it off until the fibro hit.)

So, then she sends out an email to do her 14 day challenge for only $28. So, I did that. I'm into my third week, now and have lost 6 pounds pretty painlessly. I don't follow her plan religiously, but I am pretty close. Like, she says to only eat the meals a day. I quickly discovered that I could not eat the amount of food she wants you to eat in one meal, especially not the dinner meal. Also, I need to eat before bed because of meds I take, so I usually finish my dinner meal then.

Anyway, I tried to look back and see who here mentioned BLE, but couldn't find it. So I'm sending out this public thank you!

LOL, LaDawn, I understand what you mean by the amount of food - it is amazing how large an eight oz salad becomes if you use lighter lettuces like spinach and leaf lettuce.  I believe it was Marigold that mentioned the BLE plan.  I went off it this week but need to get back to it.

I'll end my day with 8100 steps. Better than 6, but not quite 10...

Down 1 more pound and thinking I should be down at least one more before the retreat starts  ( 10 days ).   I am happy with how I ate at the last retreat and hope I can continue it ...  I have found out that WALKING is so important for my weight loss..  diet alone barely makes a difference.

Hoping there are WALKERS at the retreat.  LOL
