Might as well give it up for the month - No finishes, heck, no progress mostly.  The Birthday blocks is on the frame ready to go, the Pinwheels have been ignored completely, and my DGD's wedding quilt top is done, a pieced backing is done so it will come in after the Birthday one is done.

Had unexpected company for 2 weeks so it put a real damper on my quilting.  It is a long story and not worthy of being posted here.

October is already shaping up to be a busy month but I hope I have a couple finishes as two months in a row with a big fat 0 is not good.

Lovely finishes have shown up - keep it up.

Power is going off for 6 hours in a few minutes - we have the generator but it will cut off the internet till 6 AM.

Progress report on #8 Irish Chain--

My daughter's best friend is getting married in November.  I am making a Lattice quilt from M* for her.  All the rows are sewed together.

Taking off in a bit for the last horse trip of the year!  Have a good weekend everyone.

Here is where I am at with Let it Snow for the end of September, as I won't be working on it tomorrow.  LET and I are sewing down the others have the letters sewn down and other pieces ready to be sewn.  So if it has white paper under it, it isn't finished. :)

Sad to say the backing I received "did not make the grade."  It was flimsy and I returned it. Now I might wait until I can go to a fabric store and see what I can find since I know it won't be done this month.

This is as far as I got on the Sudoku Quilt, at least it went from just blocks to a top.

you ladies have been doing a wonderful job in my absence..Big Thanks to Eli for taking on the chart duty for me this month

I have my parents here till the 5th. We have been galivanting around all over the place, even took a quick trip up to Canada because my Dad had never been there. Once they leave I have one week to get the last things together for my son to leave on a 2 year mission. Then I will have time to be on the computer and in my sewing room. I am SO ready to be less busy.

Again, no finish. But I started the month off with only a pattern and a pile of fabric and I did get pieces cut and several star blocks for my Red-White&Blue WIP done. For some reason I can't seem to get a picture to post here, but that's probably a good thing.

Hope springs eternal for October!

I've been AWOL pretty much the whole month, but I did get the 4 patch snowball completely finished, including binding.  AND I finished 6 other quilts -- completely done!  They won't count on here since I didn't "declare" them at the first of the month or take pics.  But they are done!!!!
